We absolutely loved our recent stay at Houtkapperspoort Mountain Cottages! It was like stepping into a tranquil forest oasis, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The cottage we stayed in, Maple Cottage, was charming and comfortable, with plenty of space for our family of four. The property facilities, including the pool, playground, and tennis court, were beautifully maintained and provided a lot of entertainment for all of us. Plus, being situated in Constantia, we had easy access to all the amazing attractions of Cape Town.
While our stay was fantastic overall, there were a couple of minor drawbacks. The TV in the cottage was a bit outdated and had a limited DSTV package.

Houtkapperspoort Mountain Cottages is in an amazing location to explore all that Cape Town has to offer. The cottages are super comfortable and cozy, equipped with all the necessary amenities like Wi-Fi, flat-screen TV, and an electric kettle. The beautiful surroundings of trees, gardens, and mountains create a jaw-dropping backdrop, complemented by the presence of wildlife and a lovely swimming pool. Getting around is easy with the help of friendly and helpful guards, while the accommodating host ensures a safe and secure stay. Ideal for families, this serene and peaceful retreat offers plenty of outdoor activities like hiking, horseback riding, and even a tennis court. With its rustic charm and the added bonus of being close to Kirstenbosch and the Constantia winelands, I would definitely return to this little piece of paradise. 15 words: "Perfect base for exploring, cozy cottages, stunning surroundings, friendly staff, great for families.
